SuperAnne: The AI platform bringing human connection back to superannuation

As Australia’s super funds race to modernise member experiences, one challenge remains unsolved – how to truly connect with the millions sitting in the unadvised gap.

But that’s only part of the story.

Beyond that, members are seeking clarity, personalisation, and engagement – all of which demand a smarter, scalable way to connect.

InvestStream’s new platform, SuperAnne™, proves that technology can do more than automate – it can engage, guide, and empower. Fresh off the launch of its MVP, the company is now working with funds to bring hyper-personalised, AI-powered member experiences to life.

Redefining Engagement in the Super Space

For years, member engagement in superannuation has been held back by complexity, regulation, and outdated digital experiences. The result? Millions of Australians disengaged from their retirement savings, and funds searching for scalable ways to reconnect.

SuperAnne™ was built to change that. It’s a conversational AI platform designed to speak to members in plain language, model personalised scenarios in real time, and offer practical guidance for decisions that shape their financial future.

“We knew we had to start with empathy, not algorithms,” said Jason Hoang, CEO of InvestStream. “That means understanding what members actually feel and using that insight to humanise super. SuperAnne listens, learns, and responds to members’ needs, making every interaction relevant, clear, and confidence-building.”

From MVP to Market

What began as an ambitious idea is now a working platform being implemented with a forward-thinking Industry Fund. Within months, InvestStream’s team designed, built, and launched SuperAnne, a scalable, cloud-native solution integrating behavioural data, AI conversation design, and multilingual capability.

The first adoption marks the transition from MVP to implementation, demonstrating how human-centred design and intelligent modelling can reshape how members engage with their super.

Beyond conversation, SuperAnne is powered by scenario modelling aligned with Australia’s tax and superannuation systems, giving members credible, contextually accurate projections for their unique circumstances. This level of modelling ensures every scenario feels personal, and every outcome, reliable.

The platform shows how personalised engagement can be delivered digitally bridging the gap between accessibility, affordability, and trust. It’s proof that the right blend of human insight and intelligent design can turn a complex challenge into a meaningful experience.

Shaping the Future of Member connection

InvestStream is now working with superannuation funds including its first implementation and several opportunities in progress to tailor SuperAnne’s capabilities for diverse member bases, from young accumulators to retirees, and to extend support across multiple languages and cultural contexts. While the current focus is on Australian markets, SuperAnne is already capable of responding in Mandarin, a reflection of the team’s vision to build inclusivity into the platform from day one.

Beyond engagement, SuperAnne also gives funds a powerful new lever for member retention, helping them build deeper, data-driven relationships at a time when competition from wrap platforms and wealth providers is intensifying.

“SuperAnne’s MVP launch marks the beginning of a new era,” Hoang added. “We’re building a future where every Australian, advised or not, can engage with their super with confidence, curiosity, and a genuine sense of empowerment.”
