Celonis enabling global enterprises to save $10 billion by building composable AI solutions
Celonis announced today that its customers have reached a significant milestone – realising savings of $US10 billion by optimising their operations through Process Intelligence.
Celonis is a global leader in Process Intelligence with a focus on achieving business value by industrialising Enterprise AI with the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform.
Dan Brown (pictured), Chief Product Officer at Celonis, said that while AI is accelerating the transition from monolithic applications to modular architectures, a new interface doesn’t replace the need for an intelligence layer underneath.
“Celonis is that layer for AI-driven operations. We connect and transform data across the entire technology landscape into a digital twin to provide the real-time process and operational intelligence that AI agents need to deliver true value.”
He said that industry leaders are leveraging this same intelligence layer to power their Enterprise AI initiatives, reinvent workflows, and supercharge their workforce including:
- Deutsche Telekom AG: Saved millions in revenue by proactively engaging at-risk customers and preventing bad customer journeys
- Fujitsu: Reduced excess inventory by 20% by providing buying teams with AI-driven recommendations
- Mercedes-Benz Group AG: Improved on-time delivery, accelerated decision cycles, and made efficiency gains across more than 30 global production plants
- Uniper: Realised double-digit millions in savings across 27 processes by orchestrating an AI maintenance agent
- Vinmar: Increased operational productivity by 20% for a $US3 billion business unit by orchestrating AI agents
Momentum for the AI-driven, composable enterprise continues to accelerate. More global leaders are fast-tracking their Enterprise AI journeys with Celonis, including Akzo Nobel N.V., Alps Alpine Co., Ltd, Daimler Truck AG, Karl Storz SE & Co. KG, Latam Airlines Group S.A., Mann + Hummel GmbH, Mondelez Europe Procurement GmbH, Telia, and Toyota Tsusho Corporation.
Brown said the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform delivers the horizontal operational context layer that makes Enterprise AI work. It identifies exactly where AI drives the highest ROI. It helps companies define AI guardrails to ensure safety and compliance. And it provides system independence, decoupling AI strategy from legacy constraints.
To power the composable, AI-driven solutions of today and tomorrow, Celonis provides advanced capabilities:
- Multimodal Digital Twin: Create a rich, comprehensive picture of business operations by bringing together process data, desktop actions, unstructured and semi-structured data, and data from beyond the organisation’s boundaries
- Zero-copy bi-directional Integrations: Bring in data from and feed Process Intelligence back into leading data lakes, including Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Annotation Builder: A low-code environment to quickly enrich data with AI-generated intelligence
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server: Expose Celonis tools and process intelligence to third-party AI agents for grounded reasoning and enterprise automation
- Celonis Orchestration Engine: Manage processes and ensure people, AI and existing automations all work seamlessly together
Celonis is growing its presence in APAC with clients including True Alliance, Optus, Queensland Health and New Zealand kiwi fruit giant Zespri.
