AI-powered workforce solutions leader Cornerstone appoints Brenton Smith as VP APAC

Cornerstone OnDemand Inc., a leader in AI-powered workforce agility solutions, today announced the appointment of Brenton Smith (pictured) as Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), strengthening its leadership team across the region. In this role, Smith will drive Cornerstone’s growth strategy across Asia Pacific and Japan, deepen customer and partner relationships, and expand the company’s presence in key markets.

Brenton Smith brings proven leadership experience across the technology sector, with a strong track record of driving growth, leading high-performing teams, and scaling complex software businesses across the Asia Pacific region. Smith joins Cornerstone following seven years at BMC Software, where he led the business across APJ, operating from both Australia and Singapore and supporting customers across ASEAN and the broader region. An active advocate of AI innovation, Smith has worked extensively with customers to embed large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and agentic AI into enterprise environments.
