Adactin launches AFIVE: An intelligent AI knowledge platform empowering enterprises with consistent data, reduced duplication, and accelerated decision-making
Adactin, an Australian technology services provider with deep expertise in cloud, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and software engineering services, today announced the launch of AFIVE, its next-generation AI-powered knowledge platform designed to transform how organisations access, manage, and leverage information. Built to deliver instant answers and seamless knowledge retrieval, AFIVE enables enterprises to unlock greater productivity through consistent data, eliminating duplication, and faster, more informed decision-making.
Developed by Adactin using Microsoft Azure services including the scalable Azure OpenAI Service and Azure AI Foundry architecture, AFIVE leverages a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture with LangChain to unify information scattered across various data repositories such as SharePoint, Google Drive, Azure Blob Storage and Dropbox into a single, secure conversational interface.
The solution empowers employees to instantly access actionable insights, automate workflows, and significantly enhance productivity, collaboration, and enterprise decision-making. By eliminating the need to manually search across multiple platforms, AFIVE enables users to simply ask questions in natural language and receive contextual responses drawn from trusted enterprise knowledge sources.
Unlike conventional document management tools, AFIVE goes beyond simple storage and retrieval by interpreting, contextualising, and synthesising enterprise data, transforming static repositories into an intelligent decision-support system. The platform’s integration with multiple repositories ensures that new knowledge sources can be incorporated without disrupting existing workflows while its scalable architecture allows organisations to continuously expand their knowledge ecosystem.
The result is a significant reduction in duplication and improved data consistency across departments while allowing the platform to expand across teams and departments as organisational knowledge continues to grow.
Key features that position AFIVE beyond traditional search systems include:
- Enterprise RAG Architecture that leverages vector databases to deliver semantic understanding of documents to provide more relevant and accurate information
- Natural Language Intelligence Layer enabling employees to interact with enterprise knowledge conversationally and receive contextual human like responses.
- Multi-Repository AI Integration, allowing real-time ingestion and summarisation of information across previously disconnected platforms.
- Embedded Security-by-Design, incorporating network isolation, encrypted credential management, and role-based access via Microsoft Entra ID.
- AI + Automation Fusion, integrating with Power BI and Power Automate to trigger workflows and generate actionable data-driven insights.
“By automating repetitive retrieval tasks and enabling real-time summarisation, AFIVE redirects employee effort from administrative searching to higher-value strategic work,” said Srinivas Gutta (pictured), Technical Practice Director at Adactin. “In addition, by centralising organisational knowledge and enabling intelligent search, the platform reduces cognitive load, enhances collaboration, and increases confidence in decision-making across the enterprise.”
Ethics and Responsibility
AFIVE has been designed with security, governance and responsible AI at its core. Built on a foundation of network isolation, encrypted credential management, and role-based access controls the platform ensures enterprise knowledge remains protected while being readily accessible to authorised users.
“AFIVE supports Adactin’s objective of improving operational efficiency for our customers through intelligent technology. By transforming fragmented enterprise knowledge into an accessible system, the platform enables faster decision-making, stronger collaboration, and more efficient use of organisational resources. At the same time, by automating repetitive knowledge retrieval tasks, the platform supports employees in their work rather than replacing them, enabling teams to focus on higher-value strategic activities,” added Gutta.
